Camping

Yeah! We finally got to go camping for our first time this summer! We drove about an hour away from home and found some really pretty country. This is the Virginia I have been looking for!

It was only supposed to take us an hour to drive there but traffic was horrible so it ended up taking us about two hours. The park closes at dark and when we got there the gates were locked! Luckily I married an Idaho boy who knows how to break in and we managed to drive in through the exit.

We had to haul everything 3/4 mile to our camp spot. It's easier in the light.

They did a civil war kind of re-enactment. Everyone was dressed up and talking like they were in the war. Pretty interesting.
It was such a fun camping trip! Super short, we got there about 8ish and left the next morning. We stopped at the Cracker Barrel on the way home too. Delicious!
