The Happenings

While my mom was here, she helped me start my little pot garden.  We planted tomatoes and cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and green, yellow and red peppers!  I hope everything will grow out on my deck.  My visiting teachers were laughing that it looks a little white trash because I am using a recycle bin, five gallon buckets, and a nice big (cracked) pot that i found outside of our parking lot for my pots. We use whatever works.

Bridger has been growing and growing.  He is getting some big chubby cheeks and getting more chub on his tummy and thighs.  He is such a cute boy!  I think he is looking more and more like his daddy.
He has started cooing to us.  It is fun because we can carry on a cooing conversation now.  We'll coo and then he will coo back.  He says "A-goo", "oooh", "coo" and some other blabbers that I don't know how to spell out.  His new favorite thing is his fists.  He loves to suck on his fists.  They must be made of sugar and strawberries... if he didn't have such a small mouth he would shove the whole thing in there.  He definitely tries anyhow.  But he will never find his thumb because he keeps it tucked under his second finger.
The tub is still his favorite place.  We let him hang out there an extra long while because he loves it so much.  We have pulled out the jogging stroller.  Bridger loves it.  He has never cried on a run.  He just sits there content and happy.
Now for the best news ever!! ...  Bridger has started sleeping almost 6 hours in the night!  It is so beautiful!  I lay him down around nine and he sleeps until 2:40am!  Then he is awake for about an hour and last night kept sleeping until 7 o'clock.  Best sleep ever!  I love sleeping!

Now for the bad developments.  Bridger is becoming a fussy eater.  I'm not sure why it is, but sometimes he will come off screaming.  Then it is hard to get him to start eating again and he becomes really fussy.  It is just randomly.  Sometimes he is still great like normal then other times I have to force him to eat while he is crying.
He has started spitting up a lot!  I'm not sure why or how he keeps any food in him with how much comes out.  And he usually covers me.  He will wait until I'm all done burping him and put the burp rag down and then he shoots.  Or sometimes he will completelly miss the burp rag and cover me.  Like just barely... I had him over my shoulder and somehow he missed the burp rag over my shoulder and drenched my whole lower back.  Gotta love it.  Mommy smells like sour milk a lot.

This was a longer post... I'm going to start using my blog to double as my journal.  That way I can kill two birds with one stone since I have so much spare time now... ha ha.
