An Abundance of Friends

So moving is exhausting work! I already said that. And all I really want to do is to sit and read my book, and finish it too. Instead I ordered four bushels of peaches, canned just under 60 jars, froze a bunch, and tried some new recipes. I wonder why I do this to myself, but we will enjoy those peaches for years, maybe, to come. So its worth it... I hope.

Boxes are unpacked. Check.
Decorations are hung. Check.
Peaches. Done. Check.
Practice piano, so I can play prelude. Yeah, check.
Read book. Nope.
Hang out with friends. Check!

If there is one thing we are unfairly blessed with, it is good friends! We almost have too many. But I have decided, a person just can't have too many friends.  So we hang out lots as groups. Church is a social occasion. And we all have a really good time when we are together.

Our kids have great friends too! They have great comradery... Bridger has several best friends. And they are all really nice kids! Parents are nice, kids are nice... I like play dates just as much!

DELAWARE BEACH
Everyone was invited. We had an awesome group at the beach! Someone nearby commented on how we really know how to throw a beach party. Here's how you do it, pick a friend to round up all your best friends, and take them somewhere fun.

Sometimes I just do things because the kids like it, and I want the kids to have floods of happy memories. The sand and Devin are not friends, and going to the beach is hard with little people, but it sure made it nice to have such great company while we were busy creating happy memories.

Okay, maybe not our best side, but I'll take Yoga on the beach any day!
