(I always lie him down on his back)
Bridger has always been a pretty good sleeper for us. I love when I lie him down and he falls right to sleep. Sometimes he has to let out some extra energy by crying a minute. We will give him 15 minutes to cry in his crib and then we go in and check to make sure nothing is wrong, wrap him up again, and put him back in his crib to fall asleep.
I know that sometimes you may have to let a baby "scream it out" or just cry themselves to sleep. However, here are my top reasons for not doing this with my Bridger:
* He has gotten his leg stuck between the bars.
* One day he was sitting real close to the bars and he kept bumping his head.
* One day he was sitting real close to the bars and he kept bumping his head.
* He can stand himself up against the crib railing and cry until he's red in the face. I don't think he knows how to sit himself back down.
* Yesterday, after Bridger had been crying a while, Devin went in to check on him. He found a POOPY Bridger. Apparently he had a blow-out in the crib and he rolled around in it enough to get it all over his back, legs, tummy and face.
Gross.
