The Latest Happenings

We moved!  It took a week to pack and a couple weeks to unpack. We still have some boxes but we're almost out.
We found this cute little town-home that I think we will love. It doesn't quite have the storage space I hoped for, but it should fit our needs. It has just been re-done, all the appliances are new, good price, and a landlord who is good to work with, so we are happy!
It is also in a prime location. We are now more central Herndon so just about everything is within walking distance.  We have lots of friends who live close and the Washington and Old Dominion running/bike trail (WOD) runs right by our town-home, so convenient!
I saw my friend and old roomie Natalie get married!
Devin ran another Ragnar! This time in Las Vegas with Eric and Christy Taylor (Idaho friends).  I missed out, I felt bad not being able to cheer on my Devin.  My stud muffin ran 19 miles total!  He's a champ!
While Devin was on the other side of the country running his guts out, we had a girl weekend.  My mom and sisters came to visit and we took a little day trip to New York City.  We had a great time!  I was pretty lost, the metro system and maps make no sense at all to me there.  I just count it all as part of the New York experience, they say you have to get lost to figure it out.   We saw the statue of liberty, Canal Street (for bartering, near China Town), Times Square, and Central Park, plus other sites where movies were shot.  We were lost too long that we ran out of time to see the other things on our list before we almost missed our flight home.  All in all, very fun.  Bridger was a great tourist!  I was surprised how dirty New York is and how big.  Afterward my legs were sore from all the walking we did.  It is a fun place to visit, but I am no city girl.  I don't love the crowds so I was happy to come home at the end of the day.

Bridger is such a fun little guy. One of his new favorite things is to sit in his little box and have Devin or I pull him (Devin tied an old tie onto the box). His favorite part is when he tips over.
He seems to really like our new house. He loves to run circles through the living room, kitchen and dining area which are all connected. He likes having more room to play and explore, and having stairs to climb.
