Skunks

      We came home from our week away at church camps to find a family of skunks living in our back yard!  A momma skunk and seven little babies!  It was a little nerve racking to see them there.  Especially since every time I threw the garbage away or had to get something from the shed I had to go out there, and I didn't want to accidentally get sprayed.
      They were kind of fun to watch though.  The babies play with each other like little kittens.  Myra and Bridger loved to look out the window at them or sit out on the deck to watch them.  Sometimes we would be sitting on our front porch eating popsicles and the babies would crawl under the fence and walk all around in front of our steps.  It was fun to watch the neighbors walk by too, once they noticed the skunks.
      Skunks aren't Devin's favorite to deal with either so we called Critter Control.  In a couple days they had them all trapped and taken away.  Devin watched the way they handled them, and then he got brave and picked one up to show Bridger too.  I think he was lucky he didn't get sprayed.
