Survivor Men!

      Devin is trying to toughen up the boys in our ward so for High Adventure they played Survivor Man.  Basically they were just trying to survive!  They won MRI's by completing challenges like making their way through a compass course.  Usually they got one meal a day.  One day they let chickens loose, and the boys had to capture and kill their own chicken dinner.
      They weren't allowed to bring anything along expect one change of clothes for the week.  They slept on tarps.  Each boy did get their own 'survival pack' with a pocket knife, a First Aid kit, a heat blanket, and a mini Book of Mormon.  The other leader is a military man, and he told all the boys not to wear deodorant, because apparently it attracts bugs?  I hope they brought toothbrushes so they could at least brush their teeth but probably not.  So by the end of the week they must have been a pretty smelly group.  I think they had a good time though.  Most of the pictures I saw had the boys flexing their muscles and making tough faces.

This was the night they got caught in a down pour so they all ended up sleeping in the car.  ;)
