We love our visitors! Eric and Christy and their family came from Idaho to visit! It was so fun to see them, they've grown up so much in six years! We went to Arlington Cemetery with them, the Air and Space Museum, and their hotel pool (kids favorite;)). My mom and Katey were visiting at the same time for double fun, and my kids were in heaven! So many fun filled days in a row!
Bridger really wanted to take his turn flying this airplane. The line was so long, and not fast moving. I tried to bribe him with candy, but he wouldn't take it.
Virginia has had the craziest weather this past year. Our Spring took forever in coming. It has been cold! And it was not warm at all when the Taylor's visited. Our blossoms had a late bloom, but then the trees seemed go in full bloom overnight. They are so pretty! I really enjoy Spring in Virginia. Especially when we get family to enjoy it with... My dad got to spend a few days with us, and we did some touring.
Smelling the blossoms.

| Even downtown Bridger was able to catch a handful of worms, which he kept in his pocket until I talked him into throwing them to the ducks. |
The next day we took our touring up at the National Cathedral. I had never been here before, and I loved it! The Gothic architecture is incredible and so are the stained glass windows. I walked through the cathedral in awe. It is also huge. There are multiple prayer rooms, chapels, and places to light a candle. I think it would be neat to attend an Easter service here next year. There were several signs that indicated we were to be quiet, which is had for three kids to observe. One chapel room we went peeking into had a live service going, and when Sawyer and Myra called out, everyone turned around to see who had caused the disturbance. So goes life with kids. They did pretty good actually, besides running and hiding behind the many nooks and corners. The best hide and seek game of my life is awaiting in that Cathedral! It would be so fun to explore. We were able to take a self guided tour, but there is so much area that we didn't see.

And we finished the day off with swimming and a movie night with Toy Story and popcorn. Hooray!
