Happy Birthday Dear Myra

     Myra girl you turned four! Here's hoping this is an end to the tantrums we had hoped would be over by two, and then for surely by three... four is our number, I know it! You are a happy girl (when your brothers aren't pestering you), and when you are feeling sweet you are the sweetest! You still love sucking your two fingers, you love preschool, and you are constantly adorned with girly things like jewelry, the color pink, lip gloss, and fingernail polish. Though you don't much like your own chores, you love to help me do mine (laundry, vacuuming, bathrooms). I am grateful to have such a good helper around the house. Every night before bed you ask me what we are doing tomorrow. You like to know what is going on, and you are always prepared. (You pack your snack in your backpack the day before preschool so you'll be ready!) You are a girl who knows what she wants and gets it! You have so much spunk and goodness in you. Your silly stories, funny facial expressions, and warm smiles are a special part of our family.

 We had loads of snow on Myra's special day so school was canceled and we invited friends over for a spontaneous party celebrating our Myra. At the party she and her friends broke open a pinata, danced, and played games. She had a pink ballerina cake because she wants to be a dancer. Many of the presents she opened up were doctor related because she wants to be a doctor. And the day culminated with a movie and pizza. Happy birthday sweet Myra!
