Pioneer Games

I love Pioneer Day! This year I decided we were going to have our own celebration with our Virginia friends... It was so fun! We had all kinds of games and relays. 

Here was our line up of events:

I give you... Banana Relays!

Notice Myra, next time I'll remember and we'll use a carrot... or something that's not a banana

     We did bananas between the knees while hopping down the course and back, under an armpit and hopping on one leg, tossing the banana between partners, leap frogging with a banana, and passing banana's down team line with feet only. It was intense... with lots of smooshy-smashy bananas. And I sort of forgot Myra's major aversion to banana's... so holding a banana, for her, was out of the question! Therefore, she mostly watched. She did some parts holding a dry eraser instead. But she did have fun with the lick and stick gummy bear challenge! 

Great friends make great games... Summer time... Love it!
