It is crazy to think that I have now had Bridger out of my tummy as long as he was in my tummy! These past 18 months I have learned so much about being a mommy. It's crazy that it was nine months ago that I was in the hospital and my world was changed. It's crazy that Bridger has only been in our family nine months, because it is hard to remember back to how life was before he came along. My world is Bridger and I love him so so much!
My boy is learning and growing so much!
- He has his first tooth! I didn't even know he was getting one. He started sucking on my finger and then I got a big poke! It is sharp and I was really surprised I hadn't noticed before then. Feeding him has gotten a little more painful, but its getting better :).
- He crawls all over the place! I haven't seen him do his belly scoot in a couple weeks. He has gotten fast too. He is getting a little more independant and he will sometimes leave me in the kitchen, crawl past our living room, into the bedroom, and then he will come back and get me.
- He still loves to walk with the help of one of my fingers. He can balance by just holding on with one hand. I think he will figure it out on his own by next month. He is so close!
- When Bridger is left on his own to roam, he always pulls himself up to walk along walls, cupboards, dressers, chairs, everything... He is really good at making his way around but sometimes it'll be a longer reach than he anticipates and he will toddle, fall and bonk. He gets lots of bonks during the day.
- We do baby signs with him. He knows the sign for milk, more, and all done. He doesn't know how to sign back yet, but he understands when we do them. Devin does a mean trick. Sometimes when I ask Devin to watch Bridger, if he is a bit fussy, Devin will start making the milk sign. Then Bridger gets so excited and hungry and impatient, that I have to take him back and feed him. Devin thinks its hilarious.
- He is about 28.5 inches tall
- Oh yeah... He is sleeping 9-10 hours a night!
