Wedding, Baby Blessing, Family

Last month our little family made the trip to Utah.  Myra took her first flight and she was only seven weeks old.  The flight was great!  Devin and Bridger had a row to themselves and Myra and I sat right behind them on our own row too.  Devin had the hard job of wrangling Bridger and Myra slept the majority of the time so I could read.  It was the most relaxing flight I've had in a while.
The main event we went for was to see my brother get married!  It was so fun to be there for Nicholas and Courtney's big day! The reception was really fun.  It was great to see all the family and lots of friends in one shot.  Then the next morning we went to the temple to see them be sealed for time and all eternity.  I loved to be in the sealing room with them; to feel the sweet spirit of the temple and to know their marriage is meant to be.  Here is the brand new husband and wife!:
The luncheon was the same afternoon.  I laughed as their friends teased and roasted them, teared up as tender memories were shared, and was so happy for them when they told each other of how much they were in love.
Congratulations to them! Here is our new family picture:
And the most exciting news... Nicholas and Courtney are coming this weekend to spend the whole summer with us!  Hooray!  I am so excited for them to live by us!!  . . . Hopefully they are excited about it too.
We took the opportunity while we were in Utah, to bless Myra so our family could all be there (except Nick and Courtney who were honeymooning).  Devin gave Myra a beautiful priesthood blessing.  After the meeting, we all came back to my mom's house for some yummy food.

Myra wasn't very happy.  Her belly hurts her when I eat cabbage...
We love being with our family and friends!

I love hanging out at home.  It is just so fun, especially when I have my Devin with me.  The only problem (or maybe bonus?) is that I hardly see my kids.  They get scooped up by all their aunts/uncles and grandmas/grandpas and they get overly loved and taken care of, and they love it!  There were some days I started missing my Bridger.

It takes two to burp a baby. :)

Bridger LOVED helping grandpa and dad outside.

Green smoothies at grandma's.
Then we headed up to Idaho to spend some more time with the Poulton's.
High-fiving great-grandpa Poulton.

Four generations.

That is a mountain of potatoes!
I loved that Bridger was able to get to know our Poulton side better.  He had so much fun at Grandma and Grandpa Poulton's!  Deon taught him how to play hide and seek and Aileen became his new buddy.
We have a funny boy and he thought he was hilarious. . . He'd get face to face with Aileen and growl at her and then sit back and laugh and laugh.
Some cute pictures of Bridger after church.
Devin was able to enjoy the beautiful, snow-covered Utah mountains as he made tracks across them in his snowmobile (which was his main reason for coming).
I think this is my dad.
We love family!  And we loved this trip!  We did so many fun things.  I was able to catch up with some of my friends (I forgot to take pictures).  We played hard with family.  And as always, the end of the trip came too soon.
