Cute Kids

I love Myra's cute chubby cheeks and the way Bridger sticks his bottom jaw out when he smiles.  They sure are cute kids and it is fun to be their mom almost always :).
Myra is now six and a half months old.  She sits up really well and she rolls over from her back to her belly.  Sometimes it is a problem putting her to sleep if she's not already super tired, because when I lie her down, she'll roll over and then be upset about being on her belly.  She can roll from her belly to her back too, but she hasn't figured how to do it on command.
Bridger is so good to Myra.  I caught him one morning after he had climbed into Myra's crib, sitting by her and talking to her.  When she cries he will run over and give her her binkie and say "Hi Myra, be happy!".  Sometimes he'll squat down by her and just chat away.  I love to see him being such a good brother!  Although, it doesn't make me very happy when he wants to see her and goes into her room and wakes her up.  He is a pretty sweet boy usually.
Messy faces!  Bridger: green smoothie, Mya: sweet potatoes
It is also really fun now that Bridger is putting together more words and sentences.  Here are some of his funny moments. . .
While we were watching the Olympic track events, Bridger started running laps through our living room and kitchen, showing off how fast he is! Then he said "c'mon mom" because he wanted to race! He won :)

One morning, I came downstairs to find that Bridger had pushed a chair over to the kitchen counter, that he was standing upon, with an opened cupboard going for the remains of his Easter candy (which is rapidly disappearing now that he has found my hiding place). When he spotted me he said "Go upstairs, okay mom?"

He loves to play with the change in Devin's night stand drawer.  One  morning I saw him putting handfuls of coins down he pajama pants.  I asked him what he was doing and he told me he was putting money in his "pocket".  The change all stuck inside his pant leg where the elastic held in, but when he took a step it all fell out.  Then he scooped it all up and dumped it back into his 'pocket'.  :)

He also loves to play pretend.  He is always serving us up (pretend) cookies and strawberries or we eat (pretend) ice-cream cones together.  He is a much better eater with pretend food :).  He also likes to pretend that he is a puppy.  We have so much fun with this little boy!
