Since summer is over and colleges are starting , two of our most favorite people had to leave. Nicholas and Courtney left Friday evening and all weekend Bridger was asking for them. I think he finally understood that they went to grandma's house. Now he keeps asking to go see grandma.
It was so fun to have them all summer! Nicholas stayed true to his role and teased Bridger mercilessly. Somehow Bridger is still one of his biggest fans. When Bridger talks to Nicholas on the phone the first thing he says is "MY BALL!"
We tagged along on some of their touring adventures through DC. We went to Arlington National Cemetery...
On the tour bus.
Watched the changing of the guards.
View over DC, Washington Monument on the right
We also went to the Smithsonian Zoo. . . But we didn't see many animals. . .
The Gorillas
The wolf
Our Last Barbecue. . .
We've done a lot of grilling this summer. So we had one last big bbq to top off our fun summer together.
I should have taken a picture of our plates before we ate. . . it was yummy:)
Delicious Cheesecake! Bridger said "It's a Happy Birthday Cake!" because anytime there are presents or a cake it is always a birthday to him.
We used the rest of our fireworks and poppers (leftover from the 4th) to top off our party!
This is with Katey about a month ago.
These videos aren't the most exciting, but if you want a little in on our party you can watch.
We miss you Nick and Court! But don't worry. . . Bridger still blesses you in every prayer!
