Virginia Snow Day

Snow! We received approximately 13.5 inches today. We haven't seen this much snow in four years.
Like a kid at Christmas, Devin couldn't wait to pull out his snow blower this morning! He was out there before 7:00 AM. He cleared our sidewalk and parking spaces, as well as many of our neighbors. After a shot of snow straight to the face, I sought higher ground for picture taking!

When I came inside soaked, Myra instantly ran for a towel for my hair, and Bridger took my glasses saying he would wash them for me! Bridger asked "What happened?" -- "Dad shot me with the snow". Myra began repeating "Don't shoot people Dad! ... Don't shoot people." haha. My kids are great!
After taking care of us and those around us, Devin went to help out other people in the ward. And earned some money while he was at it.
The kids and I had high hopes of making a snowman today! Unfortunately the snow didn't pack, but we found more fun to have in the snow! Throwing crumbly snowballs, making snow angels, burying Bridger, and swinging on the playground!
Happy kids! Myra wanted to go on a walk and play at the park. Bridger just wanted to throw snowballs at me.
Myra loves the swings! Even after she said she was cold, she didn't want to go inside so soon.
My Valentines Day rain boots came just in time! Best thing for snow, since my snow boots are in Utah. They kept my feet dry!
Warming up with hot chocolate and being so silly!
My kids were thrilled when I told him we could have a movie party!
 Snacks and Charlotte's Web!
We wrote lots of Valentines, Bridger practiced signing his name with "B"s, and we made cookies! It is fun to have a home day every once and a while!
