Bridger can stop the wind- just by standing with
his arms outstretched and bringing his hands to a clenched fist! He has tested
this theory several times and is convinced of his powers. The first time
was as we were just leaving Lifetime, it was super windy, I was telling him to
hurry and jump in the car, he said "Hold on mom, first I have to stop the
wind! ... It's working!!!"
Myra has long talks on her play phone, often including fake laughter. Many times she will recite song lyrics. In a matter of fact tone she might say "Peanut, peanut butter and jelly..." Or "Old McDonald had a farm, E-I, E-I-O..." She is very expressive and uses hand gestures when she talks.

Bridger's favorite game is running. I told him his little friend Avery was coming over... "Mom can we play running?!" And when this cute little girl came over, he tried to convince her, "Come on! Don't you want to play running??"
Myra has amazing eyesight! She can spot a doggy a mile away from the backseat of the car. Lately she prefers that her car seat is in the very back of our Pilot, so she really is way back, but she is always the first to spot any dog, bird, or airplane! "Doggy, doggy, doggy!!"
When Bridger jumps off a chair, or hops off the bench at church, he pretends he is going under water and holds his breath.
Myra loves to be held like a baby. It's her favorite thing
to pretend like she is a little baby and she has me sing her a song. I see this
as a potential problem.
Bridger sings: "I like to mullet mullet", instead of Madagascar's theme song "I like to move it, move it". He still misses his mullet.
Myra lives in a musical. She walks around singing, and once she finishes one song, she just picks up with the next one. At home, the grocery store, the gym... she's not bashful.
March 12- As I was coming down the stairs, I heard Bridger say, "Hurry Myra! Quick, before mom sees!" When I came upon them they were on the couch, each holding a spoon, hiding the brown sugar behind a pillow. Yes... this has happened before!
March 20- How can I get mad at my kids for getting into the chocolate
without asking, when they come upstairs with a handful of chocolate chips, and
Bridger says, "Mom, we just want to share this chocolate with you!"?
At least they share well.
March 21- I told Bridger that Dad went out with his friends, he replied, "Dad has FRIENDS??"
