Myra has kept up the good work! Way to go girl!
Day 3- We had big errands to run. I taught my toddler class at the gym, we had to go grocery shopping, and stopped to eat lunch at the office with Devin. She did so good! She used the potty at the gym and at the grocery store. Told me she had to go potty at the office, but when Bridger suggested Ping Pong she forgot all about it until her pants were wet. Whoops. That was probably my fault, I should have made her go first. But that was her only accident that day.
Day 4- Accident free! Through errands and everything her pants stayed dry! She is doing a great job! What we mainly need to work on now is determining when it is a real need to go to the bathroom and when it's a fake. Myra yells "I need to go potty!" which may mean she's really got to go, but often just means she has the toots. She gets in lots of bathroom time. That's alright. I'll take it.
I'm considering Miss Myra potty trained now. She wears a diaper to bed (we will tackle that later... although she did wake up yelling last night that she had to go potty), but when she wakes up she is ready to take off that diaper and use the potty. She likes being a big girl. I think she might just go because she likes washing her hands so much! And of course, the treat is a big bonus too.
Hooray for Myra!
Hooray for her being out of diapers before the baby comes!
