Redskins Football Game

I may have lied in my last post. I said the best and biggest adventure of the summer was camping, but it might have been going to the Redskins football game!

It was the first professional football game we'd been to. It was a lot of fun. Since it was a pre-season game, we were able to get great seats! We were also really lucky to get my dad with us. My mom and Katey also came to watch my kids which was so nice of them! I was able to leave my kids without worrying a thing about them.

It was neat to be there, to sit in the big stadium which made the field look small, to see how the cameras work, to be a part of the hype, and find out what it is all about! Not so great was the $5 bottle of water I bought, and the really, really loud man sitting next to me. I'm pretty sure he thought he was the one calling the plays! "Quick pass! Now, now, now!" And his incessant yelling "Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!" (I started covering my right ear). After a few drinks, he thought he was friends with everyone near him, until we asked him to quiet down. Then we got his spill about how these seats have been in his family for so many years and all that.

Despite him, it was very fun. Although, I think I'll check it off my list. I prefer watching with a party of friends. Nice and convenient, free water, good party food, and people I choose to be around.

But so glad I could go and experience it! All about the experience. A fun night out! And being with Devin, Amy, Dallin, and my Dad was the best!
