I miss him when he's gone, but I am getting used to the change. Still, I like to peek in on his classroom sometimes (I've begun helping every other Friday morning during their "Writing Workshop"). Mrs. Kipp has a wonderful handle on those kids. They're learning, having fun, and participating without any screaming kids (at least not any that I've witnessed). Bridger brings what he is learning home. When it was patterns he started making patterns with his pretzels and raisins, mixed nuts, colored beads, and anything else. He practices counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's at the dinner table. And during the ant unit he informed us all about his classroom's ant farm.
In October I was so lucky to go on their field trip to Cox Farms. I've heard from older kids that this field trip is the best of them all. It was so fun. I love seeing my boy have fun, and knowing that even when I'm not there he is taken well care of!
Just an alligator riding the bus.
My beautiful drive home.
