Birthdays are Great!

Devin turned 30!  He really, really didn't want a birthday party, so I threw one for him!  Ha ha ha.  He had no idea.  I was hiding evidences at other peoples homes.  He went to the High School wrestling meet and then back to his buddy's house, where we were hiding out with pulled pork, cake and friends!  He told me he would love me more if I hadn't thrown him a party, but I thought 30 was kind of a big deal.  I know he was secretly impressed I pulled it off without his knowledge... and he got to play ping pong, which is his new love affair.  He was smiling all night anyway.

Myra turned 1!
At 12 months...
She can now say "Happy"
She jabbers like she is having a conversation.
She can crawl all the way up the stairs.
She loves to play peek-a-boo by covering her face with her blanket.
She pretends to talk on the phone, sometimes holding my phone or she'll tilt her head and put her hand up by her ear.

She weighs 18 lbs 14 oz. (16%)
She is 28 in. tall (17%)
Myra liked the frosting.  So did Bridger, he licked the tops of 5 cupcakes!

Bridger is 3!  He woke up to balloons, colored paper 3's stuck on all the walls, and a birthday throne!  He was super excited!
At 3 years...
He loves pockets
He has an obsession with wolves
He loves to line things up in a row and call it a train
He has a great imagination.  He tells stories to himself, role plays me and him, and sings songs about things he sees in the room.

Height: 35.75 in (13%)
Weight: 25.4 lbs (2%)
On his birthday, Aileen took him to Build-A-Bear.  He built a dog he named "Marky".
Later in the day he had his first swimming lesson.  He is a little timid in the water, but he was brave and did really well!
Lastly, the moment he had been looking forward to all day... blowing out the candles on his cake and opening presents!!!!
Bridger, wearing his birthday crown and sitting in his throne!
Snake birthday cake
He had us re-light these candles several times so he could blow them. ;)
The frosting is his favorite part! He didn't eat any of his cupcake, just licked the frosting off.
Happy, happy birthday!!!!

Wow! I didn't realize they all had birthdays so close together. How fun!!

Also, I didn't think it was possible, but your kids keep getting cuter and cuter. I'm glad you blog, since I hardly ever get to see you guys in real life!

Happy birthdays to your sweet little family :)
