January Days

Myra's first time eating spaghetti!

      Virginia weather is crazy!  Some days are freezing cold and others are almost warm.  One day last week almost made it up to 70 degrees!  Bridger put on his backpack and helmet and set off for school.  He wants to ride the school bus and go to school so badly!  He often puts his shoes and backpack on by himself and comes to me, "I'm sorry mom, I just have to go" and then he has to give me a kiss goodbye and pretends to walk outside, hoping I'll really let him go.

      We took a walk/ bike ride down the W&OD trail to the library, to play on the Caboose, on to Great Harvest for a free cookie and piece of bread, to Bridger's favorite hills to ride his bike down and back home.  I love these outings!

      On one of the freezing, snowy, Virginia days we took out the laundry basket, tied on a tie, put in a blanket for padding, and I ran around, pulling them in circles in the field.  It was a fun sledding day!
