18 Months

My baby girl is now 19 months, but for sake of the milestone post, I'll talk about when she was 18 months. ;)

This spunky girl has the perfect mix of mine and Devin's stubbornness to nearly drive me crazy these past 6-(7) months.  She is super determined, opinionated, will not forget, cannot be persuaded or distracted, does not like her personal space to be invaded, and very vocal.  She is also super cute, best giggle, lots of smiles, and loves for mom, and Bridger's best friend.

She loves Bridger!  It is super cute to see how well they play together. They make-believe together (like they are puppies, eating food...).  If she hears a sad Bridger in another room, she yells "Bridger! Happy!" and runs to get him.  One time Bridger was throwing a tantrum, and I let him know he had to stay inside until he could calm down, (I was going to get the mail, and then come back to get him and go on a walk).  When I walked outside with Myra, she burst into tears, saying "Bridger", crying and pointing back at the house.  She didn't want to leave him.  They are great friends.
Remember that she has this thing about her personal space?  Bridger always wants to hug her, and usually it just makes her scream and push him away.  Lately though, she will give Bridger hugs!  It has to be on her terms though.  She has to be the initiator.  Bridger figured this out, so he stands open, and lets her run in for the hug!!
She loves the park!  Every time we walk out the door.  She turns left down the side walk and yells and motions for me to follow her.  She is brave... loves the slides... always goes head first!
Her favorite kitchen game is peek-a-boo in the curtains.  She wraps herself up in them and yells "I see you!" which is my cue to say, "Where is Myra?? I don't see her..." and then she unveils herself and we yell "I see you!"  ... Keeps her entertained for mucho minutos.

She loves oatmeal for breakfast, and then a bowl of cheerios next!  She is serious about her food!  She takes after me more in that regard, than Bridger.  She can out eat Bridger any day!

She worries me a little, knowing how she is now, and wondering how it will be when she grows up.  She loves shoes, especially her red boots, and her necklace.
Also, she still loves books, music, and food (particularly spoonfuls of peanut butter for a snack- she takes after Devin there).  If you want to be her friend, if you go down any of those avenues, you should be okay!
She really loves her toothbrush, she calls it "pita" (p-ee-tah).  She brushes her teeth several times a day.

Her hair is finally long enough for a real pony-tail! ...
She is a good girl.  I need to figure out how to deal with her strong personality still, but she is good.  She is great at taking naps and going to bed at night.  She likes to sleep!  She loves nursery!  Loves to talk, and is saying a lot of words now!  Social butterfly.  Loves to say her prayers.  Likes to cuddle (with mom and dad).

Growing up so fast! Love my sweet Myra!
