We decided to take a little trip up towards Richmond to visit Jill. It was so fun to take some time off to play! It's great to spend the day chatting, while my kids are busy playing.
Bridger loved their dog Phoebe. He was constantly asking if he could hold her. This boy needs a pet.
One day we went to Maymont, a large estate, which held a petting zoo. Bridger loved it! When Myra saw the goat sticking its head outside the fence, she got a little nervous and insisted I held her the rest of the time. There was so much area for the kids to run and explore! We were only there a couple hours, but we could have spent the better part of the day there. They loved it! ... Until we had to walk up the big hill back toward the car, Bridger then suddenly became too tired to walk any further. :(
Grandpa Poulton and Uncle Cliff flew in early Thursday morning and got to spend the day with us. They got to do a tiny bit of touring, took us out to eat, and then had to leave the next morning. Bridger was sad they had to go, he said, "I miss them already! I wish they could come for a couple days and then leave... But they didn't... they only came for one day..." It was so good to see them! We wish we could see them more often!
