One of the perks of having a baby is all the great attention we get! The Wednesday after I had Sawyer (I had him on a Sunday) my Mom and Katey came to visit. It was so great to have them! I do feel a little guilty that I put them to so much work. My mom woke up with Myra by 7:00 every morning, and they kept my kids completely entertained. We didn't get to do much playing but we did successfully pull off a yard sale. My mom got four freezer meals prepared, the kids received tons of special attention, I got to nap, I could go to appointments without the kids, and they sent Devin and I out on date night (to the ward's spring social dance). I remembered they would be leaving soon and tried to soak up all the remaining minutes. They flew home Monday. They were too good to us!
After they left Bridger did a lot of thinking about Grandma. He told me "I'll just rest and think about grandma, and grandpa, and the horses, and flying on the airplane."
Me: "Bridger, do you want a snack?"
Bridger: "No. First I want to think about grandma."
Bridger: "I hope grandma comes back soon."
Me: "She will. She promised."
Bridger: "If you say so."
