It's the Holiday Season (pt.3- Christmas)

Shopping for a Christmas Tree
The weekend after Thanksgiving, we went with the Tanner's to a tree farm, to cut and haul our own Christmas tree. We went for the experience and because we like to hang out with the Tanner's. It was a beautiful, sunny, cold day. With a little snow left over from the day before Thanksgiving's storm, it was a perfect day for getting a Christmas tree.
Not our dog. Lucky, a chihuahua puppy, is ours to puppysit sometimes.
The kids all wanted to ride in the tree sled.
Lucky Devin got to pull them.
The tree farm had lots of trees to pick from, but it was a set price for the tree, not by the size. I am more particular than I realized I must take after my dad, and we don't have lots of space in our living room for a bush tree, and the nice Fir's I like were $60/tree. So we enjoyed the experience of witnessing the Tanner's cut down their Christmas tree, and then we bought a cheap ($28) Costco tree to support the commercialization of the Christmas tree industry.
Sing "Oh, Christmas tree. Oh, Christmas tree. How lovely are thy branches. Oh, Christmas tree. Oh, Christmas tree. How lovely are thy branches. Not only in, hmm hmm hmm hmm. Ooo oo ooo oooh, hmm hmm hmm hmm. Oh, Christmas tree. Oh, Christmas tree. How lovely are thy branches!" Someday we will really learn the words to that song!
Here are the Tanner's with their tree!
 Hauling it out...
The boys, Ethan and Bridger, wanted to try pulling it themselves.
And a fun lunch afterward.

Decorating our tree.
The kids did a wonderful job of decorating the bottom corner of our Christmas tree.
Tuckered out from all the excitement.
Cheesers!
Finally decorated for Christmas!
