He prefers women to men (but he loves his daddy). Strange men make him cry.
Loves the bathtub. When I start the water for his tub he gets the wiggles and tries to thrust himself into the water. Then he is so excited he kicks his feet and waves his arms and doesn't even care when he splashes himself in the face. The tub is his happy place.
He has started eating solids. I am determined to make him a good eater (since my other two are terrible), and it seems to be working so far. He gets three meals a day and he loves his cereal, pureed veggies, applesauce, bananas, and chicken. (And I have been able to add dairy back into my diet which has been a fabulous change! I'm still avoiding peanuts and cruciferous vegetables).
He loves to baby talk. It seems he gets especially conversational at church, so I rarely make it through a Relief Society class. Coos, grunts, and breathes loudly.
He has two bottom teeth. He is finally starting to grow some fuzz on his head! And his newest trick is that he is sitting up!
But the very best thing ever happened last night... He slept straight through the dim hours for an Olympic ten hour stretch! He has been waking up twice during the night for a really long time, but the night before last, he only woke up once. And last night he made me so happy! I still woke up in the middle of the night and got a drink, and Myra woke up three times, but Sawyer was awesome! Hooray for a good night's sleep! (And I hope many more of those to come).
Amy took this video of him giggling last time she visited.
