We had some friends over to build mock gingerbread houses out of rice crispy treats. After we made the rice crispy treats Devin made a pattern and cut everything out. The building was all going along wonderfully... until the roofs started to sink in. Now we know that a few hours cooling in the garage is not enough... Next time we'll make the rice crispies a couple days in advance so they have time to harden. They tasted great, but didn't hold up so well. It was still fun!
