This was our second snow of the season. Too dry for snowmen, but great for playing games in and good for a first sled run! Oh that snow were warmer! We have so much fun playing in it, but it is shockingly cold. Especially for little hands that slip so easily out of gloves!

Going Sledding:
| Our make shift baby sled, so Sawyer could keep up with the kids! |
| Sledding put him right to sleep! |
Our first try at a sled run in our neighborhood didn't work. The hills weren't steep enough, so we made another go at it on a real sledding hill. Bridger loved trying out his new "Snowmobile" sled he had gotten for Christmas! Even Myra, who was terrified of sledding last year, empowered with the ability to steer and her sense of control, wanted to go down again, and again.
It was a lot of fun! However several times during that hour and a half I wondered if I had made a huge mistake in going. Their expression, "I love this! This is so much fun!" Melted into "I'm cold, I want to go home." Back into "I don't want to go home!" I decided it was high time to leave, but after everyone used the trees for a potty, the rush was gone and we stayed for a couple more runs down the hill. That was my big mistake. Everyone crumbled. Sad that we had to leave, upset because they were freezing, and unable to move their feet or pull a sled back to the car. As we were leaving they couldn't see any part that was fun in our afternoon adventure. (Aah, after all that... was it even worth it?) But after we were warmed up at home, they remembered the great time they had, and wanted to go again!
And a slightly warm day of biking in the sun...
