Goodbye Mullet

      So Long, Fare Well . . .
I decided it was far past time for a haircut for my Bridger guy.  He has been sporting the mullet for a while.  Its had it's time.  There was a time that I liked him with it too.  I loved how it would curl up in the back so cute.  But then it just got long, and with the cold we were always taking coats on and off, and in and out of the car seat, so we would leave the house with it moussed up looking cute and curly, and by the time we made it anywhere it was straggly looking.
I tried to keep the top trimmed up, but I let the length of the mullet grow so my brothers would be proud when they saw it.  I'm not sure what it is with boys and mullets, but at least Devin and the boys in my family, love the mullet.  This is as long as I let it grow in back before I trimmed down the length.
I was at the Costco tire center, and a guy who worked there really liked Bridger's mullet.  He gave us the big thumbs up.  I wasn't worried that his hair was long and in a ponytail.
I don't like my boy looking like a hooligan nor do I like all the old ladies thinking he's a girl.  So I pulled out the scissors, as well as his cars and fruit snacks to keep him busy.
        He's good at sharing.
It is challenging cutting a wriggly boys hair.  When he got too bored to sit in his chair any longer, we moved to the tub, and I continued to snip away.  It is definitely not a perfect haircut, but it is much shorter.  He looks very handsome.
Bridger laughed when he saw himself in the mirror.  Devin thinks he looks like a different boy.
I still think he is the cutest boy there ever was!
