Merry Christmas from us!

Taking pictures for this year's Christmas card was, as is always, a big to-do, with much grumbling from the father of the family.  Devin hates getting his picture taken and he is so lucky to be married to me, someone who loves documenting everything with pictures;).  To be fair, he is not completely against taking pictures, nor does he have a terrible attitude when we go about it.  For special occasions, like Christmas, he will agree to a picture shoot.  He does what I ask without too much complaint and helps get Bridger ready.  But as I tell him he has to come home early from work while the sun is up, to change his shirt, to stand in the certain spot, (taking several poses), and smile for just one more, I'm sure he feels very bossed around.  So who can blame him really, when his patience runs short?
This picture is my favorite.  This is the look and the glare I get when Devin thinks I am being truly ridiculous.  I love it.  haha, Love you too hunny!
I update most of our fun doings on this blog, but I don't always blog our normal, day-to-day happenings.  So here you have it in a nutshell:

Devin: Hardworking provider.  He is still working at US Airways, part-time, four days a week.  He does this mostly for me, for our flight privileges and insurance benefits.  Then he comes home and does his part to run RECON Pest Control.  He is busy!  He is also the Teacher's assistant in the Young Men's.  He is my every-day handyman, picture hanger, and handsome, loving hubby and daddy to Bridger.

McKell:  Getting more prego every day, but my pregnancy's are relatively easy.  Recon's home secretary.  As a mom I stay busy chasing after Bridger and doing chores and cooking.  I am the Young Women's Secretary in our ward.  Trying to learn to be crafty, always having too many projects.

Bridger:  Almost 2 years old!  When he first wakes up, most days he asks for "toas" (toast).  He is chatting more every day, and often surprises us when he repeats back our words and phrases.  His newest is "Uht-oh, What happened?".  He LOVES being read to.  Loves stacking blocks, boxes, cups, etc.  Loves being outside.  Daily routine includes watching for the school buses to come.  LOVES nursery!  Hates going shopping. (Culprit of splattered yogurt all down and across the aisle).  Still sporting the mullet.  Hopefully his dad will consent to a Christmas haircut.

Baby Girl:  Growing bigger.  Dances on her mom's bladder all day long.  She sits so very low in her mommy's tummy.  Projected birth date: February 10, 2012.
We wish everyone the merriest Christmas!  We hope that you will have the gift and blessing to have Christ fill your heart this holiday season.
